Hadestown: Teen Edition Audition Prep is a four-week intensive specifically designed to help you prepare and build the confidence you need to stand out!
Inspired by the hit Broadway musical, this class will guide you through the unique style of Hadestown, which blends American folk music and New Orleans-style jazz.
This is a focused, hands-on experience that will give you the tools and confidence to walk into your audition room prepared and ready to shine for the GMA Players!
INTRODUCTION TO MUSICAL THEATER PERFORMANCE
READY TO STEP INTO THE MAGICAL WORLD OF MUSICAL THEATER?
This class is the perfect introduction for young performers, ages 6-9, who love to sing, dance, and act!
We’ll use beloved Disney songs and other show tunes as a fun way to learn the basics of musical theatre performance. Students will explore how to choose the right songs for their voice and develop a character by understanding their story and emotions.
This program runs from October to March, with a final showcase in April where students will perform the numbers they’ve worked on. Join us and watch your young star shine on stage!
READY TO TAKE ON BROADWAY?
Take a journey through the history of Broadway in this dynamic musical theatre class! We’ll explore the evolution of Broadway, from the classic showmanship of George M. Cohan to the groundbreaking hits of modern-day musicals.
This class is designed for students ages 10 and up who are ready to dive deeper into performance. This program runs from October to March, with a final showcase in April where students will perform the numbers they’ve worked on.
