The heart, vision and dedication to building a musical academy focused on lessons for everyone, everywhere over the years is all thanks to our founder, Krista Garrett.
In 2004, Krista founded Garrett Music Academy to provide musical guidance and education to all in Maryland and beyond. No matter your skill level, no matter your age, she wants everyone to have the opportunity to learn music with professionals in a safe and welcoming space.
She also believes that we can use music for more than just establishing a tone or learning a new skill. It’s all about learning more about yourself, having a supportive community, finding your voice, and embracing the music.
